Most people pick one AI tool and stop. One chatbot, one tab, done.
I don’t work that way, and I want to show you exactly what I reach for, because I think it’ll surprise you and maybe save you some money.
Here’s the thing nobody tells you. There’s no single “best” AI. Each one has a personality, a strength, a blind spot. Once you stop looking for the one tool to rule them all and start matching tools to jobs, everything gets easier. Here’s my actual setup, job by job.
Writing and content. Claude is my main writing partner, with ChatGPT as my backup when I want a second take. Claude just fits the way I think.
Images. ChatGPT, hands down. It’s my go-to for getting a visual fast.
Graphics, websites, infographics. Manus.ai. This is the one most people haven’t touched. When I need something built, not just written, this is where I go.
Presentations. Gamma.ai. Type the idea, get a deck. It changed how fast I can put a talk together.
Scheduling and calendar. Claude again. The same partner that helps me write also helps me manage my time.
Video. Opus. Record once, cut it into clips that go everywhere.
News and research, my thinking partner. Grok. When I want what’s happening right now, this is my first stop.
Cross-referencing. Gemini. When one AI tells me something important, I run it past Gemini to check the work. AI gets things wrong. I’d rather catch it.
A different worldview. DeepSeek. When I want a topic seen from another angle entirely, it gives me a perspective the others don’t.
Deep research. Perplexity. When I need to go deep and see the sources, nothing beats it.
That’s the stack. Unconventional? Maybe. But it works for me, and every piece earns its spot.
