I keep hearing that people are afraid of AI everywhere that i go.
I don’t believe that’s the real story. What I see, in my students, in parents, in church leaders, in business owners, is people leaning in and asking a better question: what happens next?
That question is not fear. It is wisdom.
Because here is what history keeps teaching us.
The people who watched the first airplane lift off could not picture a man walking on the moon. The people building the early internet could not imagine the phone in your pocket, the videos you stream, the way a child today learns a song from across the world.
The future is almost always bigger than the moment that births it.
So I have stopped asking whether AI is good or bad.
The honest answer is that it will likely be all of it at once.
Abundance and disparity.
Disruption and cohesion.
Opportunity and obstacle.
The outcome will not be decided by the technology. It will be decided by the people who choose how to use it.
That is where you and I come in.
This week, I am not dismissing any idea simply because it sounds improbable. I am choosing to understand, to prepare, and to position my family and my work for what comes next, not what came before.
Stay curious. Stay grounded. Build something.
